Bonsai Club Annual Holiday Party

The annual Santa Maria Bonsai Club Holiday Party was the order of business this weekend. As always, there was good food, laughter, and raffle prizes. I believe

 everyone went home with something. Wine seemed to be a popular gift this year as there were numerous bottles supplied for the raffle. Trees from the Muranaka Bonsai Nursery were a highly sought after prize. The grand prize was an original painting by club member Phil Holt won by Dave Shaffner. November 9th Meeting

We had a smaller than usual meeting today.  That's alright, it means more time with Sensei Kanemi. As a reminder, the December meeting is our annual Christmas Party.  Everyone bring a gift for the exchange and a side dish.  No trees will be worked on next month. George will send an  email to the membership with more details.  Until then, enjoy the photos!

Santa Maria Bonsai Club Meeting, October 12, 2014

We had another fun and informative get together at the monthly Santa Maria Bonsai Club meeting. There were a couple of new faces this month and to those folks I hope you plan on being a regular part of the club. The GBSF convention is in Sacramento this year. Redwood Empire Bonsai Show, August 23, 2014-Santa Rosa
